Horsey Ride
June 27th, 2015. (2 years, 5 months old.) by andrewI went for my first horsey ride. Daddy told me to hold on, so I did. (Sometimes I do listen to Daddy. See?)
I made it! And I want to go again!
Today, Ben is 16 years, 7 months, 1 week, 2 days old.
Andrew is 11 years, 11 months, 4 weeks, 1 day old.
I went for my first horsey ride. Daddy told me to hold on, so I did. (Sometimes I do listen to Daddy. See?)
I made it! And I want to go again!
I don’t even know why they call it “Train Town”.
I mean, there’s a train and all, but did you know? They have airplanes??!
The first time through, Ben showed me the controls, otherwise known as the “ropes”.
After that, I was ready. I had my OWN ticket.
I practiced my takeoff noises! Vrrrrrrrooooommmm!
They even trusted me with my own passenger! Welcome aboard, Ollie!
Ready for takeoff!
After that, it was a ride on the Ferris Wheel.
Can we go back on the planes, Daddy?
Did you know I like coffee? Even more, I like coffee makers! Daddy showed me how to make coffee with the coffee maker.
But I don’t remember exactly where this part went. I can figure it out, though!
Daddy took me to baseball camp for a week with the Sonoma State Seawolves.
There, I got to hit, catch, field, and throw all morning with other kids that want to do the same.
What more could you ask for, really? (And, I get to go back later this Summer!)
Mommy got this video of me at my first golf lesson.
I had fun and am looking forward to more lessons!
Daddy and I took a trip down to visit Grandpa and Nana, and we spent a day at Disneyland!
We started out with Big Thunder Mountain, which Daddy said would be fun and not too scary.
I think he was right.
With that under my belt, it was on to Space Mountain.
We went on three times. AWEEEEESOOOOOMEEEEEE!!!!
Then we had some popcorn (thanks again, Grandpa!), and it was off to Frontier Land. We did some shooting and I hit two targets on my first try.
Then I was ready for another big ride, so it was Splash Mountain next. That ended up being my favorite ride.
Next it was Indiana Jones (awesome), ice cream, Dumbo, the parade, Toontown, train ride, and Splash Mountain again.
Whew! What a great day!
(Ed. Note: Thanks Grandpa for coming with us. It was great to have you there!)
The blogging platform is experiencing some difficulties due to recent changes at Google. Hopefully, posting will resume at a regular pace once the tooling gets put back together…
Until then, we’re stuck with the occasional cobbled together post.
Sorry!
The first order of business was to sit in Grandpa’s race car. Oh. Yeah.
There’s lots to see at the races!
Next, it was time to go see Grandpa race! We went off to the big seats.
Here we are, ready to watch!
After we got back, Daddy took me for a ride on the scooter!
And then I had some cookies with Ben. I’m really starting to like these races.
And it gets, EVEN BETTER. The scooter had some tools in the seat, and it needed some work. I was all over that.
Lastly, I tried on Grandpa’s helmet just in case he lets me drive his car. Maybe next time?
I was picked to play in the player’s choice game. It was lots of fun. I got to play 1st base some of the time.
And of course got to run the bases. Check out this slide!
Woo hooo!
First, Mommy shows me where to plant the seed. She always knows where they go.
Then I plant them.
Mommy makes gardening fun and easy. I can’t wait to eat the stuff we’re going to grow! Happy Mother’s Day, Mommy!
(Ed. Note: Ben would love it if we could grow baseball plants!)
