Vacuuming with Doggie and Froggie
January 28th, 2010. (19 months, 3 weeks old.) by benDoggie and Froggie are my buddies when it comes to helping me get the vacuuming done.
As long as I have them (& M&D, of course), everything is OK.

You gotta love the shopping cart concept. Too much to carry? Is it too heavy? No problem! Put in the cart and take it with you! I bet people couldn’t buy as much stuff at the store before shopping carts were invented.
Oh, and the stuff that doesn’t fit in the cart? Goes in your mouth, silly.
During the recent rains, I got to go outside and put my rain coat and galoshes to the test!
Daddy was saying something about it being hard to find puddles “living on a hill”, but I don’t know what he was talking about. I found plenty of water to splash around in!
M&D got me a a bike trailer for Christmas. Now I can go along with Daddy on his bike rides, and also help him get more exercise.
This baby has pneumatic tires for a smooth ride, and a completely enclose-able riding compartment for optimum passenger comfort.
Along with my new trailer I also got a bike hat. M&D say that I always have to wear this when I go riding with Daddy.
I look forward to many fun hours cruising with Daddy – past those unlucky kids in those slow strollers!
Ma and Pa got me this super rocking horse for Christmas.
It didn’t take me long to figure out to make this pony strut his stuff! Giddyap!
Recently, M&D got a me-sized table and chairs. Yay! And even better, I got to help Daddy feel special by letting him help me put some of the parts together. (He loves it when I do that.) Here you can watch us at work.
Today I got to learn all about coughing up dinner–something M&D called “vomiting”. Unfortunately, this happened to be a first-person experience, and not a third-person experience.
I really wished that M&D could make it stop, but I guess they couldn’t. I really hope this never happens again!
The other day, Mommy and me made some orange juice. Turns out that orange juice comes from oranges! Who’d have thought?
At first, I had to concentrate (ha ha) very hard to get the juice out.
But after a little practice, I was doing just fine with my eyes closed! No problem!
Now if Daddy will just show me how to work the waffle iron, I’ll be all set!
It seemed only appropriate to start off 2010 with a new fashion statement. Once again, I set my own direction down Fashion Avenue.
Behold! A simple re-casting of this off-the-shelf item (Ed. Note: pulled right from the clean laundry basket), and I have a versatile, light winter scarf with a six different ways to wear and express myself.
(Ed. Note: Ben, I think you won’t find that you have to fight too much traffic down your ‘Fashion Avenue’.)
M&D and I had a great time celebrating the new year. You can see me being silly playing with my goggles while getting ready for my bath.
Daddy said something about ‘reminding us about what is really important in life’. I think he was talking about the best way to wear your goggles and shirt on your head so as to make people laugh. I think he’s right.
