Halloween Pumpkins!

October 31st, 2015. (2 years, 9 months old.) by andrew

Finally!  After all those trips to the pumpkin patches, it was finally time to carve our pumpkins!

Grandma Harris came to visit and help us.  She is a great helper!  I worked on my pumpkin with her and Daddy.

Ben worked on his own pumpkin.

Once mine was all carved, we took a picture.

Then Mommy needed help making her “Jack-o-Light-tern”.  Daddy got the drill, and we got to work.

You need holes?  Well, I can do that!

At long last it was time to get dressed and go out trick-or-treating.  I put on my construction worker vest, and Ben put his Buster Posey gear on.

After that, I got to hand out candy when trick-or-treat-ers came to the door.  I think that was the most fun!

(Ed. Note: Thanks again to Jim and Cathy for their help giving out candy.  Awesome!)

Peter Pumpkin Patch

October 25th, 2015. (7 years, 4 months old.) by ben

Just like last year, the Peter Pumpkin Patch was a lot of fun.

The corn pit was even bigger this year.  Actually, there were two corn pits!

I got completely buried in corn.  Woah.

And like last year, the cousins were there.  Hi Ollie!  Hi Avery!

We fed the donkeys.

And the piggies.

And the piggies ourselves.  Ice cream!  Yummy!

There was and band playing music.  Andrew really got into it.

And of course, there was pumpkin picking.

The field is huge!  So many to pick from!

Pumpkin Patch

October 17th, 2015. (7 years, 4 months old.) by ben

Well, it’s that time of year again – off to the pumpkin patch!

Our first patch this year was at Muelrath’s.  They had some cool old tractors to play on.

Andrew like them, too.

And look at this gigantic tire we could climb in!

They also have a pumpkin launcher.  You have to pull really hard on this to make that pumpkin go anywhere.  I know, because I tried a bunch of times!

Of course, we went on a hayride.  Not much hay, though.  Just lots of pumpkins!

Finally, I picked our our pumpkins and it was time wheel our pumpkins to the checkout line.

Doesn’t Andrew do a good job pulling the pumpkin wagon?  We’re all set to carve up our pumpkins for Halloween!

2015 Family Pictures

October 5th, 2015. (7 years, 4 months old.) by ben

It’s that time of year again – Family Pictures!

As usual, Jeneanne does a great job and takes lots of great pictures.  And Andrew and I get to have fun at the same time.  Awesome!!!

Shopping cart at TJ’s

October 4th, 2015. (2 years, 8 months old.) by andrew

Daddy let me get my own cart on our last trip to Trader Joe’s.

I got to push it and put stuff in it and everything.  Daddy said I did a good job because I didn’t run into anything!

Airshow

October 2nd, 2015. (2 years, 8 months old.) by andrew

We went to the airshow and Wow!  They let you sit right up in the airplanes!

This one you could crawl from the cockpit right out through the front!  (Daddy helped me climb down.)

They had helicopters, too.  I got to move the control stick.

Ben went in some airplanes, too.  We took turns.

Maybe next time we can take off!
