I got my new bed today, and what’s more, I got to put it together myself – with some help from Daddy of course!

You have to be very careful.  It won’t sleep right if everything isn’t lined up.

Watch me put in the screws and use Daddy’s electric screwdriver!

All this work is making me thirsty!

Finally, it was all done!

I’m all ready to sleep in it!

After some present opening… we decorated the tree.  You know – Priorities!

It is finally starting to look pretty good.  Andrew was a big help this year.

We also decorated our traditional gingerbread cookies with Nana.

Nana is very good at this!

Of course it is always fun to read with Grandpa and Nana.

We went for a hike out to the marsh with some friends.  The marsh is very large.

Because of the drought, the marsh is very dry – you can walk right out into it and the dirt is not wet like it normally would be.  And the plants are mostly dry and dead. We did find a cool clearing a ways in to walk around in.  Here, we found that a little ways below the nice soft dirt is a layer of clay.

We had a good time playing in the dirt, playing with the cattails, and running all over the place!

Well, it’s that time of year again – off to the pumpkin patch!

Our first patch this year was at Muelrath’s.  They had some cool old tractors to play on.

Andrew like them, too.

And look at this gigantic tire we could climb in!

They also have a pumpkin launcher.  You have to pull really hard on this to make that pumpkin go anywhere.  I know, because I tried a bunch of times!

Of course, we went on a hayride.  Not much hay, though.  Just lots of pumpkins!

Finally, I picked our our pumpkins and it was time wheel our pumpkins to the checkout line.

Doesn’t Andrew do a good job pulling the pumpkin wagon?  We’re all set to carve up our pumpkins for Halloween!

It’s that time of year again – Family Pictures!

As usual, Jeneanne does a great job and takes lots of great pictures.  And Andrew and I get to have fun at the same time.  Awesome!!!

After a long time driving, we’re almost there!

Everybody had their Giants gear, of course!  Go GIANTS!

By the end, though, I think the chocolate ice cream (and Giants losing) did me in.

That’s OK, it was a fun ride home with Avery.

Daddy and I took a trip down to visit Grandpa and Nana, and we spent a day at Disneyland!

We started out with Big Thunder Mountain, which Daddy said would be fun and not too scary.

I think he was right.

With that under my belt, it was on to Space Mountain.

We went on three times.  AWEEEEESOOOOOMEEEEEE!!!!

Then we had some popcorn (thanks again, Grandpa!), and it was off to Frontier Land.  We did some shooting and I hit two targets on my first try.

Then I was ready for another big ride, so it was Splash Mountain next.  That ended up being my favorite ride.

Next it was Indiana Jones (awesome), ice cream, Dumbo, the parade, Toontown, train ride, and Splash Mountain again.

Whew!  What a great day!

We played the A’s today, and I hit an RBI double.

Wooo hoo!!!!   I love baseball!

We had opening day and everyone was in their new uniform.  Later on we played our first game.  I got to play catcher and it was… AWESOME!

Daddy discovered that we can ride down hills together in the wagon.  One more time, Daddy!
