Warm Blankie
November 10th, 2015. (2 years, 9 months old.) by andrewBen taught me that when it gets cold, you can warm up your blankie by the heater.
Aren’t big brothers great?!

Daddy took us to the Children’s Museum of Sonoma County. They have some really fun stuff there!
Like this railroad car that you can sit in – and watch a train drive all around the museum on the screen.
Then there’s the wall where you can write with light pens.
And doodling with light bars. You stick the colored light bars in a hole – and they light up! Like magic!
Then there was the puppet theater, complete with a multi-colored light board.
And there was a giant Thomas Train track that you could climb under and come up right in the middle. Need I say more?
Then there was the doctor’s office.
And at the dentist’s office, you could use the X-ray camera to take pictures of the patient. Here Andrew is X-raying his hands!
This cool thing would suck these yarn-ball-things through the pipes and you could watch them race around, and change their paths by flipping some switches.
And that was just the inside!
Outside they had a giant Ornithopter!
Andrew was really digging it.
And, of course, giant tires to climb on.
We had a great time!
Finally! After all those trips to the pumpkin patches, it was finally time to carve our pumpkins!
Grandma Harris came to visit and help us. She is a great helper! I worked on my pumpkin with her and Daddy.
Ben worked on his own pumpkin.
Once mine was all carved, we took a picture.
Then Mommy needed help making her “Jack-o-Light-tern”. Daddy got the drill, and we got to work.
You need holes? Well, I can do that!
At long last it was time to get dressed and go out trick-or-treating. I put on my construction worker vest, and Ben put his Buster Posey gear on.
After that, I got to hand out candy when trick-or-treat-ers came to the door. I think that was the most fun!
(Ed. Note: Thanks again to Jim and Cathy for their help giving out candy. Awesome!)
Just like last year, the Peter Pumpkin Patch was a lot of fun.
The corn pit was even bigger this year. Actually, there were two corn pits!
I got completely buried in corn. Woah.
And like last year, the cousins were there. Hi Ollie! Hi Avery!
We fed the donkeys.
And the piggies.
And the piggies ourselves. Ice cream! Yummy!
There was and band playing music. Andrew really got into it.
And of course, there was pumpkin picking.
The field is huge! So many to pick from!
Mommy lets me help her with the housework.
Sometimes I really have to throw my weight around to scrub that spot… wait… that’s not under my chair is it?
I got to go back for another week of horse camp this summer! And my trusty steed, Johnathan, is still there!
Each day, we take our buddies out of their stalls…
… walk them to the arena…
… and take them for a spin. I can trot on Johnathan all by myself now!
Did you know I like coffee? Even more, I like coffee makers! Daddy showed me how to make coffee with the coffee maker.
But I don’t remember exactly where this part went. I can figure it out, though!
Daddy took me to baseball camp for a week with the Sonoma State Seawolves.
There, I got to hit, catch, field, and throw all morning with other kids that want to do the same.
What more could you ask for, really? (And, I get to go back later this Summer!)
The blogging platform is experiencing some difficulties due to recent changes at Google. Hopefully, posting will resume at a regular pace once the tooling gets put back together…
Until then, we’re stuck with the occasional cobbled together post.
Sorry!
