Now that I’m grabbing things all the time, one of my favorite things to grab is my bug that M&D call ‘Diaper Bug’. I think they call it that because I mostly get to grab it when I’m getting a new diaper.
He is very friendly and has lots of legs and things to grab. He keeps me very busy!
Daddy and I put together an airplane like the kind that land on boats. It has a hook on the tail that it uses to catch the wire to help it stop.
It also has jet engines and a canopy that opens.
The other day, we made flying spinners at school. When I got home, Daddy got out the ladder so I could fly them in the family room.
Look at it go!
When M&D can’t take me to the store to look at Lego sets, I just catalog shop at home.
There’s lots of time at rest time to go over every detail of these!
Great Aunt Barb and Uncle Steve sent me some sidewalk chalk for Andrew’s birthday. I had a great time with it outside.
Daddy even made a hopscotch that we practiced on. I hope people keep sending me things for Andrew’s birthday. That could really work for me!
Grandpa and Nana came up for a Christmas visit. We had a good time visiting – I got to open my Christmas present early! Check it out:
A new Bruder dump truck! It has doors that really open!! This is going to go great with my trash truck and tow truck. Thanks, Grandpa and Nana.
We also got to make gingerbread cookies for dessert one night. This is one of my favorite things to do with Nana.
Come back any time, Grandpa and Nana!
Lately, M&D and I have been playing Bat and Ball. On this day, Daddy was coaching and pitching. Watch me get a piece of this one!
And a ‘great job’ to Mommy, my stand in photographer!
The other day was a great day to get outside and try out one of my new stomp rockets that I got for my birthday.
First you have to put the rocket on the launcher:
Then you wind up:
Stomp!!!
And poof! It’s launched!
And here’s the whole thing in slo-mo, so you can admire my technique! (I’ve been practicing.)
You may have seen my new construction worker outfit in the last post. Well, here’s the official GQ shot, complete with my hard hat.
I had fun wearing this to Home Depot with Daddy. I think a lot of the people there wish they had their own.
And you can never be too safe. There’s no reason not to wear a safety vest 24/7!
