Stacking

I’ve got the stacking part of this game figured out. Now if I could just figure out why they don’t always fit on every time…
I’m learning to climb stairs these days. And I have to do it on the front steps so that I can show off my cool Hawaiian duds to all the neighbors! (Thanks Grandma & Grandpa Scherba!) What with all this practice, I’ll be ready to climb stairs in Hawaii (Mommy? Daddy?).
This time Daddy actually managed to get the pulling up part on video, so I thought I’d share. Now if I could just work up the confidence to walk off without holding Mommy or Daddy’s hand!
My new top teeth are rapidly making their appearance. I’ve got a new skill now: flashing the toothy grin! (Oh, and having enough hair so that it sticks up is good, too.)
Every day I practice walking. M&D (and many visitors) are kind enough to lend me a hand to practice.
Here, I’m practicing in my jammies right before bed. As you can see, I still like to hold on with one hand, but sometimes I go a few steps without holding on! This makes for somewhat exciting landings sometimes, but I know I’ll get the bugs worked out soon!
Daddy managed to catch me pulling myself up on the toy basket. He and Mommy got really excited for some reason. Anyway, M&D wanted me to share this video with you all, even though it doesn’t actually show me pulling myself up.
Boy did I have a good time today! Not only was Daddy home from work today, but Mommy did a great job of capturing my latest and greatest for the ages. World, here I come!
After this performance, I’m sure you’ll be clapping, too.
That’s the first straw… that I’ve been able to drink through. For a while now I’ve been working on the siphoning part, and now I’ve added swallowing. Viola! I’ve heard even some one-year olds can’t do this! Mommy’s water cup will never be safe again!
The last couple of days have been fun for me and kinda hard on M&D’s backs (particularly M). Check it out!
Rest of the house: Here I come!
