Happy Halloween! Grrrrr….
November 1st, 2009. (17 months old.) by benHere I am getting ready to head out for Halloween in my tiger costume!
I was having a good time until M&D took me across the street to the Knapp’s. Uncle Rick had a scary (and noisy) ghost by his door that made me cry. But I got some candy! I guess at the Knapp’s house, you get a trick AND a treat. Next year I’ll know what to expect!
Since I was in Santa Rosa for Ben’s Halloween experiences, I can verify that he put his tiger costume on without a fuss and actually wore it across the street—the visit which lasted all of five minutes! Ben got spooked by the ghost at the Knapp’s door, and decided that staying home and seeing all the children (about 170 of them!) come to the door was excitement enough for one night. Ben spend a lot of time and energy transferring the candy from a bowl to a large vase and back again—all that work wore him out!
Ben has to work on his expressions to be a proper tiger. Who’d be afraid of a tiger with a sweet face like this one. But I guess being sweet is just Ben’s nature.
