Hot or Not

March 6th, 2010. (21 months old.) by ben

Recently, I had an opportunity to tell Daddy what was ‘hot’ and what was not in this picture.  Pancakes, griddles, and toasters are ‘hot’ and cause ouchies.

In fact, pretty much everything on the page is hot.

Wow, could I possibly be the very first to comment on this posting? That never happens, but I am proud to have at least been first once! I am always amazed at what Ben can identify and make connections with—bad sentence, but what I mean is that he can see a picture of an object, identify it with something he has seen at home, and then relate that to another experience, such as touching something hot (which obviously made an impression!) which then makes one hurt. Whew! That’s a lot for a little boy, but isn’t it amazing? Lots of love from Grandma, Ben. I am looking forward to seeing you in a few weeks!
