Helping Mommy in the Kitchen

April 13th, 2010. (22 months, 1 week old.) by ben

When Mommy is working in the kitchen, I like to help.   I usually get to scoop flour between the mixing bowl and measuring cup, but today Daddy gave me a special task: lentils!  These little black beans are very tricky to keep track of, and they go everywhere if you spill them.  I’m getting pretty good at not spilling them now, but it took some practice.

I guess M&D need a lintel magnet to collect these guys when they spread themselves out on the floor. I’m glad to see Ben learning new skills. Do you think he’ll be ready to make us some dinner when we come up to go racing?

HI Ben! You are such a busy boy and you love to have yourself involved in whatever your mom is doing in the kitchen! Mom is very creative about finding exciting and interesting things for you to do while she tries to get a meal together. You are learning so much every day, and we are proud of you and your wonderful, attentive parents!
