Making Pizza
July 16th, 2010. (2 years, 1 month old.) by benAfter a couple of trips to Mary’s Pizza Shack where I got to watch the pros at work, it was time to try my hand at pizza making.
Mommy put me solely in charge of making the breadstick. Here you can see me stretching it out to just the right length. This takes a lot of concentration!
And here, I’m practicing sliding it off of the peel. Easy! (Daddy says it gets harder in the hot oven.)
And here, Mommy is showing me the finer points of adding the sauce and other ingredients.
I hope to help with this part next time. Until then, I think we should go back to Mary’s so I can watch the pros some more!
Ben’s going to be very popular at college with his knowledge of how to make Pizza from scratch! Not to mention a hot catch for the ladies.
Ben is going to be a very good pizza maker one day. He was paying very close attention.
Ben has also started practicing making make-believe pizzas. He uses the couch pillows for pizzas, and the recliner chair as the oven. We use Daddy’s stopwatch to time the baking. Did you know it takes 30 seconds to make a make believe pizza?
Great apron. I’m sure it made the pizza and bread stick taste better.
