Jack’s Birthday
July 19th, 2010. (2 years, 1 month old.) by benMy friend Jack turned two recently (seems like this is happening to a lot of my friends, lately…). He had a full-sized fire truck at his party, and we all got fireman hats to wear!
I got to sit up in the seat. Did you know that fire trucks have lots of steps that you have to climb to get up into them? They are way up off the ground!
There was also a bouncy house at Jack’s party. Boy did I have fun bouncing and rolling around. Maybe I can have one of these at my next birthday party. Daddy?
Ben gets to see another fire truck. He seems a little ill at ease in the truck. I would think that he would really like a firetruck seeing as it has so many knobs, buttons, lights, valve handles, etc. that he could play with. Maybe he was a bit overwhelmed. It sure seems like he has a handle on the bouncy house though. Finally a place you can fall down and not hurt yourself! Yeah Ben!
There’s more pictures of Ben looking less “ill at ease” in the truck – but this is the only one in which you could see his face… The others are more like “I’m so interested looking at this thing, I’m not looking out at the camera!”
I’m glad to hear Ben enjoyed the fire truck. Now if he could just figure out why they keep giving him these little red plastic hats!
I see by the picture of Jen holding Ben that he is almost 2/3 as tall as she is and is probably approaching 1/3 her weight. I bet Jen get’s a workout holding & picking Ben up all the time. Kind of like having your own gym and slowly increasing your workout weights! That should keep Jen buff!
