Planting with Mommy

September 9th, 2010. (2 years, 3 months old.) by ben

A while ago, Mommy had some more squash plants to plant in the ground.  I got to help!  See how I carried the plants to Mommy?

Once Mommy got them out of their pots, I got to help put them in the ground under the house that Daddy built for them.

I always like helping Mommy in the garden.  She’s always happy when I help her!

Ben is a great little helper. M&D are teaching him all the ways he can contribute to the operation fo the household. It looks like he especially likes to do anything where he can get his hands dirty!

Ben is very careful with the seedlings. We call them “baby plants” and Ben likes to help Mommy with the “babies”. Mommy digs a shallow hole, then Ben uses his gentle hands and helps put the “baby” in the hole. He pats the dirt down so the baby plants are nice and comfy. :)

Mom has spent a lot of time teaching you how to plant things correctly in the garden. I think I could use some help with me planting also! I hope ALL of your squash plants grow big and strong just like you are growing!
