Halloween

October 31st, 2010. (2 years, 4 months old.) by ben

For Halloween, I had a great time handing out candy to all the trick-or-treat-ers that came to our door.  And there were soooo many of them.  (M&D say “one hundred fifty three”, as if that is even a number!)  There were princesses, clowns, Thomas the Train, and lots of others.

I didn’t work up the nerve to go out amongst the crowds until it was time for jammies, and even then I didn’t want to put on my pizza slice costume, but M&D still let me go out in my skeleton shirt to a couple houses, and I got some candy!  Can you believe it?  You just say ‘trick or treat’ and they give you candy!

Next year I’ll be sure to wear my real Halloween costume and visit a few more houses.

Update: Here’s a picture of my pizza slice costume that I didn’t wear:

HI Ben, I have been waiting for this posting so I could see how Halloween went for you! Like you, I did not wear MY costume either! That’s OK because you can enjoy Halloween without a costume and get candy anyway! It looks like M & D let you sample some of that candy. Hum…better check the bag regularly to make sure some pieces aren’t missing, in some mysterious way!

Sorry to hear that Ben didn’t get out with the other Trick or Treaters to enjoy Halloween. It is probably better that at his age he isn’t going to be ODing on sugar. I’m sure he will be ready to grab his pumpkin, costume and head out to collect some treats next year.

At least he can still fit in the pizza slice next year!
