Picnic

November 26th, 2010. (2 years, 5 months old.) by ben

We had a last hurrah Indian summer day before it got cold and rainy again, and Mommy put my tent outside so we could have a picnic lunch.

Daddy showed me how to find shapes in the clouds while we were gazing up at the sky.  I found a bunny rabbit!

We all know Ben is a bright little boy, but identifying objects in random cloud shapes is pretty special. I guess M&D have been presenting Ben with a lot of new learning activities that have made him very perceptive. And, he did this while eating lunch!

Dad looks just a little too big for the tent but Ben doesn’t seem to mind and he’s getting free lessons on cloud reading and perhaps just a little basic topology in the process.

HI Ben! I bet you had lots of fun teaching your dad about the shapes in the clouds—that is a great thing to do when you are sharing tents with people! When you come down at Christmas, maybe you can teach me how to find some shapes, too! Love, Ma

Oh, I forgot to mention that the food and drinks look pretty good—was that what your mom packed for you two guys? Love, Ma
