Dump Truck

December 11th, 2010. (2 years, 6 months old.) by ben

My Matchbox dump truck might be small, but it gets put to work hauling and dumping kibble for Atlas.

Like Daddy says, “Use the right tool for the job!”.

It is always difficult to choose the right truck to transport cat kibble. The small one has to make more trips which is more fun but also more work. The larger one makes only one trip but it is more difficult to hit the bow when dumping the kibble. It looks like Ben is having fun with this one but he needs to build a ramp so the truck can get up and dump it’s load into the bowl. I wonder what Atlas thinks about Ben playing with his food? I would assume that as long as there is food in the bowl, Atlas doesn’t care where it came from.

Ben’s little mind is already working in big ways! And Ben certainly has a fascination for how trucks can haul and transport things! It would not surprise me if, as Don has suggested, Ben comes up with a ramp and a figures out how to dump that load of kibble right into the bowl. It would be the invention of a new and improved cat feeder!

Unfortunately for Ben, Mommy and Daddy would actually prefer that he NOT play with the cat food. And Atlas would probably prefer that, too, since his kibble dish is effectively off limits while it is the object of play.
If Ben comes up with a ramp, you’ll be sure to see it on the blog…
