Here’s a flashback to this past summer where I was helping Mommy plant the herb pot.
Another great experience for Ben. How proud he must be to have put the baby plants in the planter and now he gets to watch them grow.
The video is 15min long, but this entire planting activity took over an hour. Ben showed remarkable stamina in staying focused on the task for such a long time!
It is amazing how Ben can stay focused for that length of time, but what is more amazing is M&Ds patience with Ben. You are incredibly good at letting Ben go at his own speed to finish the task at hand. Most parents would have given up and competed filling the planter themselves thus depriving Ben of a feeling of completion and the feelings that he is capable as well.
I also noted that Ben was referring to himself as “Ben”. Very cute!
