Pallet Jack

April 28th, 2011. (2 years, 10 months old.) by ben

This is my pallet jack, just like the ones they use in the back of Target to move stuff around.

For anyone who has never looked in the back of Target, I’d like to tell you about all the neat stuff.  They have electric pallet jacks that plug in when the batteries run out of energy.  They have big roll up doors where the delivery trucks park.  There’s fans and lights.  And bicycles hanging from the ceiling!  And big, big shelves with lots of cat food.  And people who work in the back of Target get to go through the doors and do lots of stuff!  Daddy says I can’t go back there unless I work at Target.  One day I’m going to work at Target!

Target might be a great place for Ben to learn about having a job in high school but would only be a step on his path to greater things.

Very cute! I didn’t know you could learn so much from a shopping experience!

Well, Ben, I have been to Target MANY times and I have to say that I have NEVER looked into the back to see what might be there. And you have already done that and at such a young age! How exciting for you! I can tell that you will want to be a strong and capable young man when you grow up so that you can be a part of all the operations that keep our society working smoothly. I would be very proud to go to Target (or the Trash Company or the US Postal Service) and see you helping and driving trucks around!
