The Fair
July 31st, 2011. (3 years, 1 month old.) by benWe went to the Sonoma County Fair yesterday, and I got to go on the BIG ferris wheel with Daddy.
You go really high up on the big ferris wheel, and you can see everything from up there.
After the excitement, it was time to rustle up some grub. Daddy found some yummy french fries.
M&D promised me some ice cream after dinner, and boy did they come through! I got a big cup of chocolate – with a cone!
While we were there, we saw a parade that had horses, and black and white spotted dog, and dinosaurs! We also saw some sheep, cows, and a puppet show.
On the way out, we took a tractor-pulled wagon ride in the parking lot. I think that was the most fun of the whole day!
Wow, more adventures for Ben. I bet you hardly have time lately to blog about all that you’re doing in between adventures! That ferris wheel looked awfully high. Were you scared at all? I guess having dad up there with you helped make you feel safe. Did you wave at mom way down there on the ground?
Then you got to eat some great French fries and ice cream. To top it off you got to go to a parade with all kinds of animals including dinosaurs!! That must have been some kind of county fair! I would have loved to be there to watch you enjoy the fair so thanks for your blog and pictures.

HI Ben, you look a little anxious about that ferris wheel, but I know what that’s like. Don’t worry, though, the roughest part of the ride is being stuck at the very top and staying there for awhile!
