Halloween

November 4th, 2012. (4 years, 5 months old.) by ben

On the Saturday before Halloween, my buddy Jehan and I went to Howarth Park for the trick or treat party.  We got to warm up our “trick-or-treat” voices – and get some candy!

I dressed as a construction worker, and Jehan was Spiderman.

And before Halloween can really get started, you have to carve your pumpkins, right?  Here I am showing Daddy how to get the guts out!

Before the big night we turned off all the lights to see if our Jack-o-Lantern was spooky enough.  Looks good!

When the big night came, I decided to go as a pizza.  This costume leaves the arms free for good access to the candy.

It was raining, so M&D wanted me to wear my rain coat.  I got lots of candy and M&D let me eat four pieces because I’m Four!

It looks like the pizza boy got a basket of fruit?? What’s happening in your neighborhood? You look awful cute as a construction worker and a piece of pizza. Glad you had a good time. You will have to start inventoring your candy like your dad used to do!

Oh. That’s just apples from the tree. This was shot before we went out. And don’t give him any ideas about “inventory”. What am I going to eat, then? :-)

That’s right, M&D deserve their cut for walking around with him! Also, cudos for the great looking Jack-O-Lantern!

HI Ben, did you really carve that fantastic jack-o-lantern yourself?! Perhaps there was a little help from dad, but what a great job! I really like your pizza costume and I am glad you had fun trick or treating even though it was raining. But that sometimes happens. Enjoy your candy, Luv yu, Ma
