Visit to the airplane museum

July 1st, 2013. (5 years, 1 month old.) by ben

It was hot dog Thursday at the air museum, so we met the Thomassons there.

There were two airplanes to go in.  The first one w went to was this T-37.

Then we went to visit a one seater airplane that Daddy says is called an F-106.

Look at me flying the F-106!

Then we took a ride over to where the flying airplanes are like the Alaska Airlines planes.  There we got to go on a visiting B-17G!

Ben, it looks like you and your friends had great fun looking at the airplanes. It must have been exciting to sit in the cockpits and pretend to be flying the planes.
Did you know that your Grand Uncle Ray learned to fly jets in a T-37 when he was in the Air Force. They called it the Tweet because of the noise the little engines made. Also, the tweet was made by Cessna who makes a lot of the little planes you see around the airport. I’m glad you had a fun day!

Hi Ben, you must really like airplanes just like Daddy and Granpa Stark. Your Daddy is so good about taking you to see the airplanes and explaining how they operate to you. I hope you will want to fly someday yourself and maybe go with your Daddy! Luv, Ma
