Summer Time!
May 19th, 2009. (11 months, 2 weeks old.) by benIt seems that gone are the days of cold and rain, and it actually gets quite hot here in the backyard! I’ve not experienced this before. How hot does it get, anyway?
To help beat the heat, Mommy put me in my nice light Hawaiian shorts and my nice shady hat.
Also, Daddy put up the gate to make a safe place for me to play on the back deck.
Mommy also broke out my sandals, which I’m modeling here, for your viewing pleasure.
Very cool!

Nanna Elaine says she is jealous of Ben’s new shoes as she has never gotten the knack of walking in flip-flops. Very cute!
Wow, what good looking legs! This boy is a Stark for sure—he even has the same squint as his dad in the sun!
Looking at the picture of Ben’s new sandles, it appears that his little piggies are just big enough to pull it off.
