My friends Tommy and Rosie turned 2 and they had pony rides at their party! I got to ride on ‘Sugar’. At first, I wasn’t too sure how this was all going to work. But everyone said it would be OK so I decided to tough it out.
Sugar’s mommy told me to hold on to the saddle horn, so I never let go the whole time.
Almost smiling…
There we go! It was a little scary, but in the end it was OK. My first pony ride! Yay!
Update: Here’s some video of the ride.
There’s nothing like a little dump truck and garbage truck video watching after your bath to really help you zone out.
(Ed. Note: When did Ben learn to drive the videos on the iPod??? Update: Yes, we’ve read about toddlers and iPods…)
See me up on my cherry picker where I can fix things way up high!
Books need straightening? No problem! I have my cherry picker!
Daddy is always fixing things around the house. Well! I can fix things, too!
First, this keyboard needs to work.
And somehow, this door stop came apart and needs to be put back together.
That’s the great thing about fixing things: it’s always easy to break something if you need something to fix!
(Ed. Note: Yes, Ben did remove the hinge pin all by himself. As always, you can click to magnify…)
Hello? Benjamin here. May I help you? What’s that you say? You need some help? Well, once I learn about that, I’ll get back to you…
First, Mommy had to get me outfitted with a glove.
Then it was time to fill up the paint bucket.
Then it was time to move the paint over to the house.
…reload…
Daddy made a fort out of my crib and the butterfly blanket. Wow! I had a fun time playing and then napping very securely!
A while ago, Mommy had some more squash plants to plant in the ground. I got to help! See how I carried the plants to Mommy?
Once Mommy got them out of their pots, I got to help put them in the ground under the house that Daddy built for them.
I always like helping Mommy in the garden. She’s always happy when I help her!
